Little Mulberry Park Phase II
When patrons pass through the gates they will find miles of walking and equestrian/hiking trails and a nature preserve. Included in the new amenities are a 2.2 mile paved, multi-purpose, handicap-accessible trail around the lake with designated shoreline fishing areas, approximately 4 miles of equestrian trails, a paved connector trail to the rest of Little Mulberry Park on the Fence Road side of the property, and a restroom facility. An equestrian only parking lot on Mineral Springs Road and a main parking lot for all other park uses on Hog Mountain Road have also been added.
In addition, the 200-acre Karina Miller Nature Preserve includes the lake with designated fishing areas along the shore, as well as the steepest portion of the ridge, and is home to many native Georgia plants and wildlife. Signs will be located along the trail to let people know when they are entering the preserve.
